The Forest Feast Gatherings: Simple Vegetarian Menus for Hosting Friends and Family (2016), is a follow-up to her first best-selling book, with a focus on entertaining. It features menus for all different types of occasions one might host (most for a group of 6-8 people) including seasonal dinner parties, a brunch, a picnic, a cocktail party and a vegan-gluten free dinner.
There is also a series of suggestions for bar-style serving menus, such as a Creamy Polenta Bar. This time she also includes DIY and crafting ideas such as floral centerpieces, painted beverage tags, place settings, and edible holiday gifts.
The book is laid out in Erin's signature photo and watercolor illustrated style, with little text and loads of colorful imagery. The recipes are still easy to make and inspired by local produce near her cabin in the woods.
